These terms cover the White Rabbit iPhone app and this website (getwhiterabbit.app). White Rabbit is a client for the open, decentralized Matrix network — your account and messages live on the homeserver you choose, which has its own terms and moderation policies that also apply.

Be decent — no objectionable content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior in White Rabbit. That includes harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam, and content that is illegal where you or its recipients live. Don’t post it, don’t share it, don’t link to it.

Reporting and blocking

• Report any message (long-press → Report), any user (their profile → Report), or any room or space (its settings → Report). Reports go to your homeserver’s moderators.
• Block anyone from their profile — everything they send disappears from your view immediately, everywhere.
• Reports are acted on within 24 hours: offending content is removed and the users responsible are ejected where we have moderation power; on rooms we don’t control, your homeserver’s moderators are responsible, and blocking protects you immediately either way.

Your account

Your Matrix account belongs to you and your homeserver, not to White Rabbit. Keep your password and recovery key safe — we can’t reset or recover them. You’re responsible for what you send from your account.

The app

White Rabbit is provided as-is, without warranty. We may add, change, or remove features. Optional tips in the app support development and unlock nothing. See the Privacy Policy for what data the app does and doesn’t handle.
